I started Joan’s Care because of my grandma (Joan).Watching someone you love age is complicated. You want them to stay independent, safe, and joyful in their own home, but you also see how quickly everyday life can become isolating or overwhelming.That experience changed how I think about care.Today, I’m the Founder and Companion Care Provider at Joan’s Care, where I help adults maintain independence, dignity, and connection in their everyday lives.Joan’s Care isn’t traditional home care. We focus on true companionship and practical support — the kind that helps people keep living the life they want in the home they love.That might look like: • Driving a client to their favorite coffee shop or doctor’s appointment • Helping organize a home so it feels safe and manageable • Running errands together • Sharing stories over lunch • Making sure someone feels seen, heard, and supportedThe work is simple in concept, but deeply meaningful in practice.Before starting Joan’s Care, I spent years building skills in communication, marketing, strategy, and problem-solving, earning a B.A. in Communication from Colorado Christian University and an MBA from Auburn University.
