ABOUT JAMIE C.
Jamie is a Technical Director operating in the air quality team at Ricardo. He specialises in air quality monitoring and atmospheric dispersion modelling for both road transport and point sources. Jamie has been involved in numerous projects which have required the use of air dispersion modelling for both chemical pollutant and odour impacts, and is familiar with the ADMS and Breeze AERMOD suites of dispersion models, as well DMRB and Webtag screening methodologies. He has undertaken dispersion modelling for air quality assessments to accompany planning applications; Environmental Statements; Environmental Permitting Regulations for industrial sites and air quality assessments on behalf of local authorities as part of their LAQM obligations. Jamie has experience of designing and undertaking ambient air quality monitoring surveys through the use of both continuous and passive monitoring equipment. The monitoring data collected has been used for characterising existing ambient air quality and odour, validating dispersion modelling predictions and assessing environmental compliance.
