My team is a world class Incident Management program that manages cloud outages from detection to mitigation to minimize customer down time. We are part of the Azure Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) organization at Microsoft and are transforming industry leading incident management at scale. Some core responsibilities- Engage on Azure core service incidents- Understand the cause of outages and drive mitigation- Ensure that Azure Incident Response processes are followed and continuously improved upon- Learn from outages: Identify learnings with detection, mitigation, TSGs, risks, post incident reviewsCurrent projects- AI: Building on TSGs with AI agents in an effort to reduce outage engagement time and incident mitigation times via automation- Refining collaboration tools with AI- I work with a team to improve platform monitors in a goal to reach zero missed detections.
