With more than 14 years of experience in the Information Technology field, James Williams has proven to be a multi-faceted IT solutions leader and portfolio/program/project management professional. With his degree in IT and CompTIA Network+ certification as his foundation, after graduation he worked for a few small companies that allowed him to matriculate up the corporate ladder while gaining exceptional skills and experience to include implementation, training, and working with executives to set and achieve goals.Since moving to Florida in 2011, James pursues opportunities that allow him to expand his knowledge and strategically improve the goals of any company he works with. His military background instilled a sense of discipline and accountability that translates into loyalty and persistence for any company he works with. His Lean Six Sigma training has embedded the desire to reduce waste and drive holistic improvement. He continues to enhance his knowledge with additional certifications and education. In 2018, he acquired his ITIL and Security+ certifications to bolster his leadership experience and show his commitment to continued education. In 2019, he acquired his PMP certification to prove his proficiency managing projects. He has experience in Waterfall, Agile, PMI, ITIL, and Lean Six Sigma environments, methodologies, and frameworks. He believes that siloed businesses eventually become stagnant businesses so he encourages and promotes inter-departmental collaboration and strategic change management.
