I create data pipelines for robust and reproducible statistical analysis. I am qualified with a Masters in Polymer Chemistry from Leeds University and a professional award in Environmental Science from SOAS, London and have a varied entrepreneurial background, focusing on sustainability, environmental impacts on health and food and drink. At 24 years old I started an organic food supply business, and later worked for a series of environmental organisations and businesses. During my 3 years at Pure Living China (China’s premier Air and Water Quality Testing and Solutions enterprise)as the General Manager of the Shanghai office, I managed testing and remediation projects in commercial environments for clients such as Alibaba, Google, Apple and Siemens.Most recently I was part of the team at TestSharing, building a disruptive digital platform for consumers to access food safety data. My work enabled the interpretation of scientific food safety data for unambiguous presentation in consumer reports. It was during my work as a science advisor that I started programming and made the career change, focusing on data.
