He served as the President of the AIA Space Coast component of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2015 and 2016 and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional.As a project manager, project architect, and designer, James has led facility design projects for such client organizations as NASA, the Army Corps of Engineers, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company. A number of his facility designs and designs that he supported have achieved Silver, Gold, or Platinum level LEED-ratings by the U.S. Green Building Council.
