Responsible for leading the team of Senior Managers, Software Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Designers, Anchors & Software Engineers building and operating a diverse product suite supporting the entirety of Ford’s Connected Vehicles service offerings globally. This includes creation of new products (microservices to full scale applications) and extending current product capabilities (small change requests to large scale updates to monolithic systems and digital transformations) to meet stated business needs/requirements. Products support all elements of the Connected Vehicle ecosystem, from in-dealer service bay processes, to supporting the consumer experiences via mobile app, to offering Over-the-Air module updates, to the connectivity gateway between vehicle device & cloud, in a fully secure and highly available operating model. Currently leading the group that consists of 80+ product teams with staff located in throughout the USA, India and Germany. Software is primarily public cloud based coupled with an on-prem, legacy capabilities. All software is developed utilizing Agile practices. Responsible for teams leading the migration of all applications from MS Azure/AWS to Google Cloud Platform. Additionally serve as the Technical Operations Advisor for Autonomic LLC, a Ford acquired subsidiary providing services supporting the Transportation Mobility Cloud.
