ABOUT JAMES EARLY
Greetings! My name is James Early, and I\'m excited to connect with you on LinkedIn. For the past 19 years, I\'ve been working as a Data Specialist for a school district in the Houston area, where my analyses helped campus and district leaders to make data-driven decisions and to increase state exam scores and graduation rates while reducing the dropout rate. While I\'ve loved my time there, I\'m ready for a new challenge. • After some serious soul-searching, I\'ve decided to make a career change and dive headfirst into the world of Data Analytics. I\'ve always been drawn to analyzing data and discovering the story that it tells, and I know that my analytical skills and attention to detail will serve me well in this new field. • To prepare for my transition, I\'ve been studying Data Analytics in the Data Career Jumpstart program, and I\'ve been blown away by what I\'ve learned so far. I can\'t wait to start applying my new skills to real-world problems and making a meaningful impact. • When I\'m not thinking about data analytics, you can usually find me researching, writing, or recording my podcast Key Battles of American History. I\'m a huge fan of war movies, and I love spending time with my wife and four daughters. • I\'m excited to connect with others in the data analytics community and learn as much as I can from those who have come before me. If you\'re interested in chatting more about my career change, or just want to connect, feel free to send me a message!
