   EDUCATION FRAMEWORK was founded in December 2013. The company provides student data privacy management services to K-12 schools in the United States.In today\'s 1:1 learning environments, application and website operators have pushed parental consent obligations to schools under the COPPA Rule. The COPPA Rule allows schools to act as intermediaries between application and website operators, and parents, in the notice and consent process for students under 13, but only when parental consent to become the parents agent, has been obtained. EFI helps to make this a transparent and accountable process.As 1:1 learning environments become the norm in K-12 schools in the U.S, schools need to assure parents that they are doing everything possible to protect student data. Education Framework Inc. aims to make the process of protecting student data easier and more manageable so that schools can concentrate on improving student outcomes.
