About James Morin

I am a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with years of experience. I have worked as test architect on client projects and have lead large teams of sdets. I have experience working with many different types of technologies, such as Java and Typescript, as well as experience with different testing methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and also Agile and Scrum. I pride myself on my work ethic, and the quality of the product that I deliver for my clients.

   Responsible for testing development done on Core team, including the Identity, Offline, Onyx, and Devex squads• Involved in weekly release testing of both iOS and Android code bases on all three verticals; Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry• Built identity team mvp test plan, deep-diving into Identity functionality in order to to establish expected behaviour • Spearheaded the Core-Week Hackathon project, Downloadable GMUs; voted the overall project of the entire Hackathon• Lead the discussion on improving QAs existing process, giving valuable insight into potential areas of improvement• Performed audit of existing test cases, determining where additional automation was needed, and worked on said tests
