Expanding on my previous role, I moved to the Cross-Meta Integrity (XI) team to focus on problems at the intersection of public policy and user safety. My work focused on ensuring fairness in our enforcement actions at scale and across cultures. I also coordinated and drove research efforts on removing unintentional frictions that our processes and algorithms applied to businesses with a goal of recovering billions of dollars in regrettably lost revenue. I also played an IC leadership role on our director’s management team, including acting as a mentor for both ICs and managers on the team.
