I found many of life\'s lessons can be learned through the adversity of sports. None more so than wrestling, where your individual performance can either hurt or help your team. No matter what happens in life, you have to work hard and always fight off your back. I continued to play rugby after college for several years until multiple injuries and surgeries made it clear my days of contact sports were numbered. Still, I like to stay active. On my off days, I can usually be found exploring nature on skis, snowshoes, hiking boots, or a mountain bike. Whenever allowed, my rescue pup Dixie tags along.
