During my short tenure - I have modeled and under written over $1 billion dollars of Western U.S. farmland assets and closed on over 14,400 plantable acres or nearly $600 million dollars of those modeled. In total, 17 different properties located across California, Oregon, and Washington. I have monitored the execution of primary due diligence activities including Phase I and II environmental analysis and work, biological and wetland analysis, soil and petiole analysis, pump and motor analysis, and ALTA survey review. My financial underwriting experience has focused primarily on permanent crops, specifically, avocados, apples, cherries, citrus, tree nuts including Oregon hazelnuts, wine and table grapes, and many others including developments and redevelopments. My financial modeling experience includes the evaluation of simple single crop properties to complex citrus ranches consisting of over 80 APNs and 200 separate blocks of 30 different varieties. Most properties were modeld to a 15 year hold with a planned disposition. All California properties are evaluated for the current and potential impact of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). I have a working understanding of SGMA and how it relates to water management.
