Application owner for General Motors’ metal resale online contracting system (ORCID). Supporting 500 GM buyers and external users from over 20 mills and 65 suppliers, with raw material purchases of steel and aluminum of over $4 billion annually. Leads the implementation of numerous enhancements to ORCID application to support the growth of the metal resale business. Develops requirements and solutions based on input from the users, including from purchasing, finance, and its suppliers. Works with the development team to ensure deliverables met the business’ needs. Develops and conducted user acceptance testing, Develops user documentation. Conducts training sessions with the GM users and suppliers. • Launched 60 stampers onto ORCID’s Material Add and Change Request (MACR) process, accessible via Covisint, to allow stampers to submit material requests online into GM\'s material resale program. • Implemented an enhancement to allow other raw materials to be sourced and contracted in ORCID. This allowed GM to support aluminum in their resale program, with the ability to support other raw materials in the future. • Provided visibility from ORCID to view how GM bought the assembly materials back from those stampers. Supports numerous Excel and Access VBA applications to allow buyers to analyze quotes from mills during sourcing, and to allow finance analysts to generate budgeting reports. Performs data analysis and developed reports to ensure the resale contracts and assembly contracts were correctly identified and linked to support the volume audit process. Develops desk procedures to determine volume annual forecasts for materials bought from the steel mills.
