Short secondment to Johannesburg, S.A Undertaking commercial management activities for client organisation relating to delay claims from contractors working on major power station project in Limpopo province. Claim Preparation: Support to Expert Witness; Value (Undisclosed) Working is support of David Blake, appointed Expert Witness in Arbitration proceedings. Preparing and verifying multi-million dollar claims for an international client on a major oil and gas project. Acting as support for a team of five consultants, the role required regular liaison with legal team and client representatives, obtaining and sourcing data, forensic quantum analysis, regular reporting and updates, resource planning, establishing clear objectives and management of deliverables as required by David Blake. Telecommunications IT Outsourcing account. Review of commercial issues that had arisen during a £60m Transformation phase between the supplier and outsourcer. Carrying out project manager and programme lead interviews in conjunction with general project and contract document reviews to elicit governance and process adherence. The results provided supporting substantiation to each head of claim facilitating the prosecution of the claims Commercial review of IT Outsourcing Contract Assisting with undertaking a commercial review of a suite of contracts for a global telecoms company. The exercise included identifying possible liabilities and streams of additional revenue within the contract.
