Attending & showcasing animals to the general public along with local authorities. The role of a Animal Handler is to educate individuals of the origins of the specie(s) being showcased, whilst maintaining the integrity on the animal and also the safety of the public as if handled incorrectly, the animals can cause harm.To name a few of the animals handled - 15ft Burmese Python, Variety of Snakes, Lizards, Birds of Prey and Arachnids. I have found this position to be very rewarding, not financially, however it allows me to educate individuals on animal behavior, along with the the different habitats/continent the species originates from.
