ABOUT JAMESIA DOWNER
Jamesia Downer graduated from Morgan State University with a Masters of Arts in Journalism, in May of 2020. Here she was a Reporter and Anchor for BearTV and served as treasurer for the student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalist. In 2019, Jamesia completed two internships one as a reporting intern with The AFRO-American Newspaper covering community events. The other with Athlete Interactive creating social media content for professional Athletes clients. She also completes a year-long fellowship with The Wall Street Journal.
