James Hay is an award-winning fundraising and partnerships leader with over 15 years’ experience creating large-scale campaigns and purpose-driven collaborations that inspire action and build inclusion.He has held senior roles across the charity sector, including Director of Income at Mines Advisory Group (MAG) and Fundraising and Business Development Manager at Cerebra, leading teams to deliver multi-million-pound income growth through creativity, innovation and collaboration. His partnership work has secured support from leading organisations including ITV, United Nations, Mars, Toyota, Nestlé, Tesco, Ford, and Nationwide, alongside major trusts, foundations and media partners. Known for combining creativity with strategic focus, James has helped organisations grow their impact, strengthen their brand, and connect more deeply with their audiences.Over the past decade, James has specialised in designing and delivering mass-participation relays and global awareness campaigns that unite people through sport, education and shared purpose. His projects include One Run for Boston (supporting the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings), United Relay of America (raising funds for multiple humanitarian causes), The London Relay (tackling youth homelessness), One Run Global (advocating for human rights), Running Out of Time (a record-setting 24-hour relay linking COP26 to COP27), and Relay Your Way (championing inclusive sport for people of all abilities).
