May you live in interesting times\"- traditional Chinese curse. I started my career in the 90\'s dealing with paper resumes, typewriters, faxes, filing cabinets, telegrams and carbon copy paper. Now HR has ATS, CRM, social media sourcing, emails, video conferencing, and much, much more. I\'ve gone through the stages of being an assistant, generalist, specialist, supervisor, manager and director, doing recruiting, sourcing, training, employee relations. C&B, etc, working in the areas of manufacturing, technology, outsourcing, consulting, data center, BPO, and healthcare sectors both in Asia and the US. I have learned so much in the past 2 decades, yet I eagerly await what new marvels 20 more years will bring. May we all be cursed to live in interesting times.
