ABOUT JAMES GRUNDY

I’m a Senior Product Design Lead with 18+ years in digital product design and front-end development, including over a decade leading UX across complex, high-scale platforms.I design digital products that simplify complexity and scale with confidence.Over the past decade I’ve worked across health insurance, home care, sportsbook, aviation, logistics and ecommerce — leading product design across multi-million user platforms as well as greenfield 0→1 concepts.My work sits at the intersection of:• Product vision & strategy• Research-led UX and validation• Design systems and accessibility• Brand-led replatforming• Multi-platform ecosystems (Web, iOS, Android)I actively contribute to product strategy — challenging assumptions, conducting market and competitor research, uncovering user needs through interviews and testing, and translating insight into technically feasible solutions alongside engineering teams.I’m comfortable operating from discovery through to delivery: prototyping early, testing often, knowing when to stay low-fidelity and when to refine, and maintaining ownership as products move into build.I care deeply about clarity, usability and commercial impact.
