ABOUT JAMES GRANER
James Graner is pursuing a JD/PsyD degree in 2026. He has a strong interest in applying psychological principles and methods to the legal and criminal justice system. James has over six years of experience in the mental health field, working with diverse populations and presenting issues. He has specialized in treating children, adolescents, and adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and borderline personality disorder. He has also worked with LGBT clients of all ages, providing affirmative therapy and addressing their specific needs and challenges. He has led and facilitated various psychoeducational and support groups, using evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy.
