About James Gallagher
In short, I am the marketing and business development lead at a fantastic engineering firm in addition to two other side activities. The first is a passion of mine - wine. A friend and I started a small wine import company focusing on wines from Bolivia. We are in our 2nd year now and our revenue keeps growing! The second is another passion of mine - foreign languages. Prior to working with RES I was the international marketing director for a localization firm, Beyont, that focuses on language review and translation quality. I still consult with Beyont on a regular basis. Over the past decade I\'ve been fortunate enough to teach marketing, strategy and design thinking at two universities - one in Paris and the other in California. I am native-level fluent in English and German with advanced fluency in French and Spanish - with a little Swedish thrown in for fun.
