I founded Tierney Education on a simple belief: people thrive when they have the right support, connections, and someone genuinely invested in their success.After years teaching economics at Penn State, including large-lecture courses of 750+ students, I realized my most meaningful moments came from one-on-one conversations, not standing at the front of a crowded hall. So I built something better.Today, I offer weekly mentoring sessions for Penn State students, drawing on deep on- and off-campus connections to help them navigate academics, career decisions, and life beyond the classroom. I also provide private tutoring in economics and related subjects for individuals and small groups.My commitment to community runs just as deep.
