Our primary focus is on building a toolkit, refining the process, and establishing the infrastructure that connects outstanding experiences across all Zillow products. We are a cross-functional team committed to maintaining a high level of quality and representing the Zillow brand. Our goal is to develop front-end systems that enable engineers, designers, and product teams to efficiently solve problems and deliver top-notch experiences on a larger scale.* My current focus areas of ownership are our theme engine and cross-platform design token architecture.* I am prioritizing building comprehensive toolkits to empower our designers and developers to focus on their product work.* Actively partnering with and mentoring designers and engineers who utilize our design system in their projects.* Emphasizing my focus on reusability, accessibility, performance, and modernization.* Moonlighting with other design technologists to think about how we can evolve our internal tooling to allow designers and engineers to focus on what is really important.Each member of our team deeply values maintaining a high standard for design systems, ensuring usability for both system consumers and end customers. We love to understand the bigger picture and make sure we have an impact that is deeper than a \"component library\".
