Support to business: Working Knowledge partner with ambitious businesses to recruit, train, retain and progress talent. We are expert at maximising commercial benefits from Apprenticeship Levy funds. Finding talent with the right skills, experience and attitudes that fit an organisation can be very tough indeed. When that talent is young (18-24 years), with little to no relevant experience on their CV, it can be harder still. At Working Knowledge, we offer a fresh approach. We help you recruit on potential and then intensively train new recruits through bespoke early careers programmes designed to rapidly bring them up to speed and then to thrive in your business. The programmes are like graduate schemes or school leaver programmes that tend to attract 18-24 year olds from diverse backgrounds. But recruitment is not the only challenge; retention of talent too is a key commercial driver. As a result, we create and deliver Management and Leadership programmes to progress talent through your organisation, with a specific focus on enhanced communication skills. And if you combine the two above you can create a 3-5 year programme that can ‘lock’ talent within your organisation while they complete a succession of nationally recognised qualifications up to degree level. Apprenticeship Levy: Working Knowledge has more than a decade of experience within education and particularly navigating the red tape around the delivery of government funded qualifications. But we also understand business, so are uniquely positioned to help companies navigate the Apprenticeship Levy to maximise commercial benefits. This is true whether you are a Levy payer or not. Support to Education: We have 14 years of experience partnering with colleges and universities to help transition students from education in to the workplace. More than young people, 2,300 staff and 3,100 employers have been through our training programmes and events.
