About James Brown
I’m a graduating Honors Carolina student in the UNC Scholars Program dedicated to exploring the intersections of human rights, international justice, culture, and religion. I’m currently pursuing a BA in Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with concentrations in international politics, social movements, and Asian studies, along with a Religious Studies Minor. As an Accelerated Research student, I have research experience with the contemporary concept of the Middle East, exploring its connections with geopolitics and religion. Additionally, I have deepened my interest in international affairs by studying Hindi and Russian at UNC, culminating with significant cross-cultural experience in South Asia. Beyond my academic pursuits, I am active as a student leader in my church\'s college ministry and work as a program assistant at BeAM@CAROLINA.
