Currently treasurer and board member of the Education Foundation of Saint Lucie CountyMy background includes experience in IT, software, and programming which means I possess a set of skills not found in most CPAs. I not only understand the information in the system but also how that information is obtained, what it contains, and what its potential is. One of the areas I see growth in is the area of Tax. This is where the Tax Department will find the need to have a Tax Technology Specialist. Someone who understands tax as well as the systems and data contained therein. Other noteworthy accomplishments include passing the CPA exam on the first sitting. Placed sixth in Washington. Placed in the top 150 in the nation (out of resulting in Elijah Watt Sells Award. Received Certificate of Appreciation from Washington Employment Security Department for assistance in improving tax reporting for Washington state businesses. Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award winner, Member of AICPA and WSCPA Strong technology skills including SQL Server, Python, React, R, C, Cobol, and data analysis.Specialties: Finance, Tax, Data Analytics, SAP General Ledger, Close and Consolidations, Foreign Currency analysis, intercompany transactions.
