Responsible for all aspects of telecommunication system projects including: needs analysis, project planning, equipment specification, building specifications, bid evaluation, selection, and documentation. Systems include: • 800 MHz Trunked Radio System - P25 and EDACS • 450 MHz Radio System • Microwave Systems • Communication Towers • Communication Tower Space Loading Review for third party • Communications Greenfield Site(s) • Fiber Optic Systems • SCADA Support • Network Operation Center • Multiple Address Radio Systems • Telecommunication Circuit Design Project Management Successfully managed installation of numerous short and long term communication systems. Projects ranging in value up to twenty-four million dollars. Projects managed include: • System-wide replacement of the 800 MHz Trunked Radio system. • Microwave Systems - managed installation of analog and digital microwave, added, analyzed, and modified existing tower(s), building(s), or site(s). • Fiber-Optic Systems – installation of ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) and OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) fiber outside and inside plant fiber systems. • 450 MHz Rebanding Project - analyzed and redesigned the Power Plant Radio. • Outside and Inside (copper / fiber) Plant and Building Wiring Systems - managed wiring for connecting company facilities and equipment.
