About James Duehning

As a Project Manager, I work with our clients to determine their needs and partner with them to provide the best services to successfully complete their projects ahead of schedule and below budget. I manage subcontractors and coordinate with various program teams to support the execution of high voltage transmission lines and substations. My experience with transmission line projects range in voltage from 69 – 500-kV, utilizing wood, steel and concrete poles and steel towers. I also have experience utilizing helicopter construction methods for foundation construction, tower erection, wire stringing and hardware installation. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and I’m a registered professional engineer. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two kids Bennett and Lauren every chance I can. I compete on a BBQ competition team and I enjoy cooking BBQ for friends and family. My other hobbies including working out, riding bicycles and enjoying the outdoors.
