Looking back on a childhood with divorced parents, I eventually realized the importance of other people stepping in and helping where they can. I was lucky to have an older brother who was there for me in so many ways on a regular basis. At the core of my beliefs is the notion that people will always need help from other people, in big ways and small. This drives my passion for helping others professionally and in my personal volunteering activities. This is my why.
