ABOUT JAMES LEMON

A passionate traveltech innovator and strategist leadings Stripe\'s global growth for the hospitality, travel, leisure, transport, and automotive verticals at Stripe. I help our customers of today and tomorrow to improve customer experiences, innovate faster, and build more productive operations with Stripe\'s financial infrastructure. Organisations of all sizes in hospitality, travel and leisure make huge strides in B2C and B2B payment performance from Stripe\'s wide range of fintech products to modernise payment experiences.Before joining Stripe, I founded and exited Otolo, a mentoring and peer-to-peer platform for hospitality professionals, and worked across various segments of the travel industry, including hotels, property management, tech, and consulting. I have led commercial and strategy teams for hotel chains like IHG, property management companies like Hostmaker, and travel tech companies like Travelport. I have also advised start-ups and private equity firms on market trends, product innovation, and value creation. As a regular speaker and thought leader in the travel industry, I enjoy sharing my insights and perspectives on the main stage at Websummit, at Mews Unfold, and on various industry webinars and podcasts. I am also an associate member of the Institute of Hospitality and a certified mentor on LinkedIn. I am driven by the mission of empowering the travel community to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment. I am based in Wimbledon, UK, and a proud father of two.
