Helping clients unlock development potential through strategic planning and infrastructure advice.I am a planning and infrastructure specialist with particular expertise in residential development and strategic land promotion. I advise developers, landowners, promoters and local authorities on planning and infrastructure issues, from early-stage site due diligence through to the delivery of complex development schemes.My experience includes: • Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements and infrastructure agreements • Reviewing, advising on, and challenging planning applications • Advising on planning appeals and applications for judicial review • Undertaking detailed planning due diligence on development sites • Preparing and submitting applications to stop up or divert highways • Advising on the application and implementation of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) regimes • Advising on, and challenging, nominations of assets of community value • Advising on common land and town and village green issuesI provide clear, commercially focused advice on navigating the planning system, managing risk, and securing consents that enable development to proceed. As a partner, I also lead client relationships, shape strategic approaches to complex planning challenges, and play an active role in developing Foot Anstey’s planning and infrastructure practice.
