Initially, I volunteered as a counselor for EFTX\'s Studio E Art Therapy Program. Through this program, I served as a mentor to children and adults diagnosed with epilepsy. My goal was to expand the creative thinking of all involved and build self-confidence and outgoing personalities based off of their creative thoughts. All involved left the Studio E Art Therapy Program with smiles, as they realized they can express themselves through their artistic abilities. I built lifelong relationships with all those enrolled in this program.Through my diligent work, I have been invited to serve on the Board of Directors as we seek to explore new programs, services, and fundraising events that expand our outside participation targeting all generations.
