ABOUT JAMES BROWN

James Brown, a Principal with Davis Pier, is a technical architect and senior consultant with over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. James’ primary focus is on enterprise and application architecture, having significant experience working with clients gathering and prioritizing requirements, performing jurisdiction scans, identifying and analyzing solution options, and designing, implementing, and operating eGovernment and enterprise solutions. James has worked closely with clients to architect, design, estimate, procure, and implement enterprise solutions including solutions for business registration, business licensing and permitting, inspection management, collateral registration, credit registries and bureaus, master data management, business intelligence and analytics, payment solutions, ICT hosting services, and digital government solutions. James is an accomplished architect and consultant with TOGAF and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications. He has worked with multiple Departments in Nova Scotia, the Prince Edward Island Department of Justice and Public Safety, New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, Housing NS, and the Institute for Citizen-Centred Service. As part of on-going work with the World Bank, James has been engaged with clients from various ministries and organizations in Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Seychelles, Sudan, and Uganda.
