   Supports the Director of Operations with daily oversight of mechanical, maintenance and housekeeping team, in addition to shipping, event and exhibit and guest services operations-Responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well functioning-Serves in the role of Director of Operations, as arranged by the DOO or Executive Director-Assists the DOO with oversight of required setup and teardown of museum exhibits, events, programs, and meetings-Oversee maintenance of all museum facilities including restrooms, back of house, offices, dock areas and exhibits, keeping them in a clean and well-maintained condition-Assist DOO in Fire & Safety education of both staff and volunteers for events and exhibits-Manage fire sprinkler inspection, repair, and maintenance as directed by DOO-Perform daily inspections to support routine facility maintenance and facility repairs to ensure a positive guest experience-Manages the order requirements and stocking of assigned facility supplies-Manages deliveries at loading dock, including high value & delicate art shipments- Manages assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, vacuums, brooms and mops, saws drills, pallet jacks for cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, equipment, etc- With the direction of the DOO, ensures applicable regulatory and department standards are met or exceeded and adhered to on an on-going basis (JCAHO, OSHA, Safety Standards, etc.)
