I Was recruited into a district in the company that was underperforming in key metrics such as customer service, appearance, financial performance and talent management. l assisted my District Manager in creating a new culture in the district of delivering on financial metrics and improved customer service while recruiting talented motivated employees. My role was to be assigned for six months to each of the four worst performing locations of the district and through talent management, delegation, and leading by example start the stores on a path to success. I was successful in all four locations in all four key metrics. I implemented my strategy in these key areas in a thought out deliberate action plan. I created a teamwork environment through communication, performance evaluation and correction, and recruiting. This new sense of teamwork was used to one common goal above all others best in class customer service. We also created an inviting store appearance at each location that allowed for a better visual for our customers as well as ease of shopping. The financial performance was repaired by focusing on top line sales growth. This was accomplished through better execution on merchandising priorities while focusing on placement of impulse items for quick sell through on stagnant inventory. This was accomplished at all 4 locations and these locations continue to be improved with new management continuing and improving on path my teams started.
