As the Director of Sales and Marketing, I manage the sales team, support staff, and marketing department. My responsibilities include overseeing hiring processes, providing training and mentorship, conducting onboarding and exit interviews, and performing annual performance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies. I ensure that teams meet productivity goals, such as sales revenue quotas and performance expectations, by coordinating internal and external training on new products and services.I lead our marketing efforts by developing strategies for brand awareness and positioning, including advertising campaigns and lead generation initiatives. Additionally, I plan and coordinate company events, such as conferences and tradeshows, and manage social media communication channels to distribute newsletters that engage customers and stakeholders. I oversee a Marketing Manager who executes these plans efficiently on behalf of our organization.
