I am a private equity professional with executive experience in a wide variety of companies and industries. I have an extensive background in startup, development, growth, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and governance oversight of organizations, ranging from small privately held companies, to larger complex organizations. I have successfully managed capital for institutional investors and high net worth individuals since co-founding my first private equity firm in 1989. Throughout my career I have invested in and actively managed a wide range of debt and equity securities. As a Board Member or shareholder / owner, I have been involved in over 50 companies, spanning a diverse range of industries, including industrial services, oil field services, manufacturing, distribution, corrections, restaurants, transportation, aviation, and fitness. I have also been involved with non-operating company Boards including University Systems, Investment Management Companies and Endowments, and Collegiate Athletic organizations.
