ABOUT JAMES WILLIAMS

I joined Moore & Tibbits in October 2014 and qualified into the commercial property department in April 2016 as a solicitor. I was appointed a Director in July 2021. In 2025, the firm transitioned to a LLP and I’m very proudly one of four partners in the firm! I provide support to both corporate entities and individual clients on a wide variety of both residential and commercial property matters. This includes advising clients in sales, purchases, equity transfers and leases. I also advise on Landlord & Tenant issues including the preparation of tenancy agreements, service of notices and eviction of tenants. More recently I have been assisting a number of developer clients in site acquisition, funding and later sale. Acquisition can be by way of conditional contract or option agreement, as well as advising on promotion and overage agreements.I also have experience in other types of commercial property transactions including deeds of grant, advising on leasehold premises, lease renewals, deeds of variation and deeds of assignment.I studied law at the University of Exeter and completed my legal practice course at Nottingham Law School.
