   Responsible for creating and developing new packaging designs to ensure aesthetic and functional satisfaction for the end consumer. This included writing protocols and reports that verify the design of the packaging under the guise of ISTA, ISO and ASTM standards.• Harmonized design control documents from packaging component suppliers into acceptable Smith and Nephew documentation. Activities included converting PFMEA rankings to consider patient severity, converting control plans, evaluating MSA’s, and developing detailed process maps.• Responsible for the sterile packaging needed to launch various types of sterile implants, including small joint implants in emerging markets. Projects have aggressive timelines that must launch with efficient, and functional sterile packaging.
