ABOUT JAMES WILKINSON
Originally from Oldham I studied Chemistry at the University of Manchester. I started my career working with an independent accountancy firm in Leeds, auditing SMEs.I joined PwC Leeds in 2011 after qualifying as an ACA and continued to work in audit on a variety of different clients. I joined PwC Cayman in 2012 and gained experience auditing financial services clients (banking and asset management).I returned to PwC Leeds in 2014 as an audit manager and managed teams auditing both financial services and CIPS clients ranging from large FTSE 100 company\'s to SMEs.I spent time in industry between 2015 to 2018, with the majority of my time involving the implementation of IFRS 9 for portfolios of unsecured loans. I returned to PwC Leeds in 2018 as an audit senior manager to work with financial service clients (insurance and banking).In 2023 I joined PKF as an audit partner with a focus on auditing financial services client.
