As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he began his post-military career in fiber splicing before advancing through a wide range of operational and technical roles including Outside Plant Field Engineer, Project Manager, Central Office Supervisor, Area Operations Manager, and Regional Director. Over the past two decades, Mr. Webb has developed deep expertise in central office infrastructure, fiber backhaul, OSP deployments, and large-scale FTTx programs—most recently managing Verizon’s One Fiber initiative in the Southwest.During his tenure with Frontier Communications and Verizon, Mr. Webb led regional teams overseeing the engineering, installation, and maintenance of broadband infrastructure across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. His responsibilities included direct oversight of capital planning, P&L, cross-functional team leadership, and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. At Mears Broadband, he serves as Program Director for Colorado and New Mexico, where he leads statewide broadband deployments, supervises permitting teams, coordinates with local governments, and ensures schedule performance across public and private infrastructure projects.Mr. Webb’s experience includes managing projects exceeding $100 million in value and directing staff through complex multi-jurisdictional work zones.
