The thing that makes me tick? Growing businesses quickly by creating the right conditions. So, strategy formulation, M&A, restructuring, efficiency and innovation….all under-pinned by positive culture.Over the last 20 years, I’ve had fun working with, and growing, some great brands in the consumer sector including Jacksons, Aunt Bessie’s, Belazu and Abel & Cole. My experience hasn’t all been about brands but I have been proud of all the products I have worked with. Neither have I worked in just one channel; rather my experience has been in all of them from retail, through foodservice to direct to consumer.I’m at my best working with fast moving, accountable teams where it is all for one and one for all. I like to teach, mentor and coach teams; to help them grow, as business grows. Colleagues would say I am results focussed and have a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo….but also that I don’t take myself so seriously.If there is any such thing as an orthodox career, then it has not been for me.
