As a railway signaller my job is to operate the signals and points to ensure the safe passage of trains throughout the network.The system that I currently operate is track circuit block signalling.I am responsible for the safety on on-track personnel and the and implementation of Railway Rules and Regulations on a daily basis.Duties included :•Reporting train delays• Reporting incidents/accidents to train control• Ensure the safety of on-track personnel• Infrastructure faults•Level crossing failures/incidents•Signal failures•Track Circuit failures•Train failures•Points failures•Fatalities•Rail dangerous goods incidents•Broken rails•Trespassers•Line Blockages and Closures•Dealing with members of the public
