At Olympus I create and deliver outstanding product training, enabling my colleagues to demonstrate the benefits of our industry-leading technologies to surgeons worldwide - improving early detection of disease and surgical outcomes for thousands of patients every day.As Olympus Professional Trainer EMEA, and in close cooperation with the relevant Sales and Manufacturing Product Management teams, I create, develop and execute product training for colleagues working in our ENT and Surgical Imaging (Neurosurgery) teams across EMEA - both onsite and online (live and asynchronous). I also support training for our Surgical Endoscopy (Laparoscopy) team. As the Olympus Global Master Trainer for ENT & Neurosurgery, I work with Global Product Management to develop and lead training for our regional trainer teams across the world, both for Basic Sales Training and New Product Launch training.In my role I have had the opportunity to develop and lead training for a wide range of products, including endoscopic and exoscopic imaging systems and technologies, stand-alone and integrated documentation systems, AI CADe software, electrosurgical devices, steel and powered surgical instrumentation, wound dressings, implants and prostheses. Whatever the topic, I develop learning objectives with the key stakeholders to ensure that the content is relevant to the success of the business and our customers, and create content tailored to best achieve those objectives for the specific trainee target group.
