This summer, I worked on the 330 Distel Circle affordable housing project in Los Altos, CA—the first mass timber podium modular project in the United States. My role gave me hands-on experience with Procore for project management, Bluebeam for drawing reviews and takeoffs, and coordinating submittals and RFIs. I also collaborated directly with subcontractors, gaining real-world insight into construction sequencing, site logistics, and problem-solving on a large-scale affordable housing project. This internship strengthened my technical skills in project coordination, digital tools, and construction documentation, while exposing me to one of the industry’s most innovative building methods.
