As the Sustainable Operations & Value Chain Lead, I oversee the delivery of Deloitte’s own decarbonization agenda for the UK firm, supported by a team of sustainability professionals in which is an inward-facing role. However, I support client-facing colleagues to update them on our own activities, strategies and progress to reduce our sustainability impacts to help facilitate stronger client relationships. My role is responsible for overseeing emissions reductions relating to real estate, business travel, supply chain (procurement), homeworking and commuting and to achieve these goals, I work closely in partnership with functional teams to integrate this agenda into their operational strategies and programmes, among other things.I have day-to-day responsibility for the UK firm\'s ESG and environmental reporting outputs, working closely with our communications, finance, design and corporate affairs teams and in partnership with the UK sustainability leadership team to ensure these communications are published on time, and meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders.
