ABOUT JAMES VISINA
I am an experienced 360-Degree Talent Acquisition Manager with a unique skill set spanning over two decades. I began in financial services in Hong Kong and Shanghai, was picked up as a foreign trade consultant and buyer for a major global retailer. Then I returned to the US in banking and financial services where I worked on trading floors and in the tiers-both front office and back office. I transitioned into recruiting for the premier Recruiting Agency for Compliance, Legal, Risk and Regulatory roles in Manhattan not long after 9/11. I am grateful for this experience, because when I started my career, Compliance was but a backwater function in the industry. Compliance and Risk Management exploded and overnight became one of the most desired places to land within financial services. Through the Agency experience, under excellent leadership, I was able to work directly with many thousands of the top financial services firms across the industry. I then made the switch to In-House Corporate Recruiting with a top global investment bank. Now, with Walmart GTA Finance, I feel I have found my calling where I can leverage my complete background and apply my skillset across the Fortune #1 enterprise.
