Manage the entire life cycle of a reporting request from requirement gathering to production release oversight. Form a deep understanding of each service line’s process and data to better anticipate roadblocks while navigating numerous mergers, acquisitions, and conversions in a quickly changing environment. • Convert unstructured data using ETL procedures to standardize data for easy consumption. • Query SQL databases using joins, complex queries, and views to translate stakeholder requirements to technical terminology for visuals and insights. • Create Star Schemas using SQL and Power Query to manage multiple data sources and table relationships. • Use DAX to create Power BI measures and visuals which display important KPIs and convey business intelligence, while maintaining RLS security. • Create snapshots to convey productivity fluctuations over time. • Setup, monitor, and maintain data and report refreshes using Azure Data Factory pipelines, stored procedures, and SQL gateways. • Be an active participant in all agile methodology meetings with other developers, leadership, and stakeholders. • Effectively communicate the what, why, and how to technical and non-technical audiences. • Lead new report presentations with stakeholders and coach them on important/new functionalities. • Migrated multiple reports from SAP to Power BI paginated reports, saving the company over annually • Created an Import Metrics Report using various data sources that replaced over 60 weekly metric emails. This report resulted in a huge efficiency boost and gave real time visibility to data import issues and volumes.
