ABOUT JAMES VARDY

I am a motivated individual that enjoys being challenged. I work at my best when I have set myself a challenge in my personal life or at the workplace. These challenges in many forms. I enjoy being able to solve complex problems. These can take the form of looking through data and applying different methods to be able to solve the problem, or even looking at the methods that are used to solve the problem and finding ways to improve on them. I enjoy setting myself goals and then finding different ways to achieve them. The goals are (relatively) fixed but the way to achieve them changes as the environment changes. Outlined below is a record of the past 15 years of experience. As a process engineer, experience has been gained in the mineral processing of numerous ores. I am currently working on a gold processing plant to find different ways to improve the overall throughput and recovery by improving each of the processes. The last project worked on was the detailed design and execution of the Husab Uranium plant. On this project, I was the lead process engineer on the dry (crushing and milling) and slurry (leach, counter-current decantation, and tailing) areas and carried out the commissioning of these areas.
